Don’t let the GRINCH steal Christmas! is the theme for the Giving Tree Project this year.
The Giving Tree Service Project was first started in 2002 by the Catholic Campus Center at Washburn University. This project was put in place to help benefit the children of Topeka who are in need during the holiday season. The children range in ages from newborn to 12 years old.
This project offers Washburn students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to come to the assistance of area children and their families during the holiday season.
Just pick an angel tag from a tree at one of the locations, Catholic Campus Center, Nursing, SRWC, Residential Living: LLC, Lincoln, The Village. Buy the gift andreturn it unwrapped with its tag before Noon on Friday November 13th.
We will deliver the gifts to The Topeka Rescue Mission, DoorStep and Let's Help.
